This thread was moved from the category General Discussion. Dear all,
Race suggestions from all members of the SailOnline community are most welcome! SOL has standardized a format that anyone who wants to suggest a new race can use. Just download the attached tutorial and follow the instructions. ---------------------------------- ONCE YOU HAVE YOUR GOOGLE EARTH FILE PLEASE START A THREAD IN THIS FORUM WITH THE RACE NAME AS ITS TITLE SO THAT SOL CAN SEE YOUR PROPOSAL. PLEASE NOTE THAT REFERENCES IN THE GUIDELINES TO A YAHOO GROUP NO LONGER APPLY!! --- Last Edited by RainbowChaser at 2011-08-18 09:23:27 --- |

That was fast. Your race is almost ready to go!
I would like to have a test run in January before the real thing at the end of June. I was thinking of starting it either on Saturday 23 January as a week-end race, or on Tuesday 26 January as a week race. Do you have a preference? Later dates also possible of course. What boat(s) would you like us to use for this race? Any preference for the starting time (keep in mind that there are players all over the world)? Regards, Francois |
