Problem fixed, thanks to a prior post by Careka! I replace the "#" at the end of the url with "?beta=true" and Chrome is happy.

Hello all. My wife would like to try a race! This is good news since it mans she won't mind me getting up at 4.30 in the morning so much if I promise to check her yacht as well.
But... the registration process is not sending a message to her hotmail account susanvanderpuil@hotmail.co.uk. Help please.

Yohann - check your Spam folder. There is an occasional problem with Hotmail and Gmail sending emails from SOL to Spam.
If that does not fix it then email RC.

Anyone know what this means:
TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.
at views::SteeringComponent/setSendButtonLabel()
at views::SteeringComponent/cmdTimerUpdate()
at flash.utils::Timer/_timerDispatch()
at flash.utils::Timer/tick()


Couldn't get in this morning to tack :(

Hello,
I am having problems trying to log into the race, I keep getting error 2040. I have tried the beta true at the end without success. I use windows vista. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi MrBill,

I haven't heard about error #2040 before, so I don't really know what's going on.

What browser are you using?
What version of flash are you using? (right-click in the client, even if it gives an error)

Does the classic version work? classic version

Maybe try again with the beta=true:
1. click to try with beta=true
2. click to try without beta=true
(These links are to the Sailonline RTW 2014 - Leg 6 race)

Other things that might (temporarily) fix it:
* Try another browser (Chrome uses another version of flash as well)
* Clear flash cache

Mac users should take the principles and apply them "Mac-style". If any Mac user has the time/inclination to write up something similar then we can add it here too.
