Hi.
Something super weird happend in the Macias Ngumea race. I was logging in to check my boat again and saw that my boat was back on the startpoint. Later I saw that there was two boats named Garganey in the race.

Thought SOL tech team should know about this.

Thanks for letting us know.

Somehow you got two boats registered for this race. When you go to the race, I think the server decides more or less at random which boat you'll get.

I can remove the boat that's still at the start, but I'd rather don't touch it until our development team has had a chance to look at it.

If you want to finish the race without much hassle, let me know, then I'll remove your ownership of one of the boats.

Do you remember anything that could've caused this? Like having trouble with the registration for this race?

Hi guys - this has happened (rarely) in the past and so DevtDudes should be able to tell us how it happens and what the "fix" is ...

Natuna Sea Race 2026


At 4.0N 108.2E lies the island of Natuna Besar, Great Natuna, surrounded by at least 154 islands, of which 127 uninhabited, Indonesia’s Natuna Regency, and all around this archipelago, the Natuna Sea, bordered by Borneo to the east, the Java Sea to the south, and the Malay peninsula to the west, and extending north to cross a disputed international border with China into the South China Sea. And it’s a border that matters, there’s gas here! But why worry, let’s race – 2050nm in our goo’ol’ Open 60s in between the production platforms, prowling destroyers and submarines.
