QtVlm (Christophe) is working on it.

I will announce a "good to go" both here and in the chat, when it is fixed.
IMPORTANT!!

Christophe has made a small upgrade to QtVlm 5.3.7 and called it patch2.
This is a temporary solution, that has changed the way that "SOL Interpolation" now can read the grib files from brainaid with the 2x2.148 resolution.
Just click on, and download the new qtvlm.exe file attached below and move it into your existing QtVlm folder(and replace the old one).

Remember afterwards to chek that you have a dot in "SOL Interpolation" in QtVlm/Configuration/Advanced.

Cheers

Hello all,

I've just uploaded a zip containing this time both 64b and 32b for windows only.

I can try to launch build on other platform as MacOS or linux.

The link: www.virtual-winds.org/oxygen/qtVlm_5.3.7-patch2.zip

In order to make it work I would advise you to copy your current qtVlm to a safe place in order to be able to revert to current offcial qtVlm version. Then replace the qtVlm.exefile from the one in the zip you've downloaded (take the one from the folder corresponding to your arch 32b/64b)

We will release a full new setup on Maitai return.

I have iMac no possibility to open fichier EXE!
ok I'll setup tomorrow a build machine for MacOS
Bimmer - you say copy and replace. Does that mean delete the existing qtvlm.exe and paste the new one? Or should a numbskull like me wait for patch 2 to be issued by Forge?
hello

Please use now the above link and follow the steps I've suggested by keeping safe your current qtVlm folder as a copy.

Just to explain: I'm the original dev of qtVlm but now maitai as taken most of the activity on his side, I'm still doing some stuff like implementing the SOL interpolation in qtVlm (and soon access to SOL boat in qtVlm too). maitai is currently in vacation so even if I know how qtVlm works he is mastering the whole deployment steps. Until he is back we will work with small patches consisting only of new qtVlm.exe file.

I'm in process of uploading mac version too. I'll post the link asap.

Chris
It's good for Mac Mavericks! thank you Bimmer & oxygen77 :-)
In mode "standard" not SOL in advanced!

Red Eye - Myth of Malham 2025

In 1947, Hugh McLean & Sons of Gourock, Scotland built a radical racing yacht for John Illingworth, soon-to-be Commodore of the RORC, to a design by Laurent Giles. With a masthead rig, giving her ‘free’ sail area per the rules of the time, and short overhangs reducing pitching, Myth of Malham went on to win The Fastnet that year and again in 1949, and to compete in numerous Admiral's Cups. In 1958, in honour of the yacht, the Myth of Malham race was conceived - a mini-Fastnet to the first lighthouse on a rock west of Cowes, Eddystone, rather than the second, to be held in non-Fastnet years. IRL this year it has been raced already, but this stops us not from “Red Eye” racing its online 230nm in Fareast 31Rs, leaving how to deal with the Isle of Wight open to your own discretion.

Africa by Sea 2025 - Maputo to Mogadishu

The fifth leg of our exploration of Africa By Sea takes us north along the length of the Continent’s succulent sub-tropical and tropical Indian Ocean coast. Much fought over by traders and colonists both well-before and after a Portuguese expedition under the command of Vasco da Gama first sailed there from Europe back in the 16th century, it is yet to be properly explored as a yachting destination. With plenty of islands off- and inshore, small and very large, there is much to interrupt your 1900nm voyage and visit in your Swan 65, from Maputo to Mogadishu! Race #1858
