I have a question about the Antwerpen - Belfast race: When does the starting line close?

It would be nice to have this information in the race description for timed races, so we can estimate whether we have many tries or just a few and make smarter guesses for a good weather window.

Thanks,
Eddie - brainaid

The sea is lovely, dark, and deep, But I have promises to keep, And miles to sail before I sleep, And miles to sail before I sleep.
Good point Eddie I think we will close this one before the start of leg 5 so feb 14th at least, maybee sooner.

I think Jakob can inform you on that one, if its decided its indeed good to put the info in the description.

On the other hand... the position as chairman of the SOL race planner comittee is vacant :-)

What would be the responsibilities?

I don't know... but the pay is good ;-) Lets talk over email.

What do I need to do to have more than one try at a timed race.
I thought I was only allowed one entry per race

Peter
This is true for normal races.

During timed races you only may have one active boat at a time.
As soon as this boat gets across the finish you can re-enter the race and make another attempt.

The one boat rule is there to avoid gambling one more then one strategy at the same time.

Happy racing, jeroen

After finishing your previous attempt you can re-register for another try by following this link:
