The first (and only) practice race in Japan will be held tomorrow evening, Friday 14 May 2010, at 1800utc.

The course will be that shown in the attached picture.

START TIME: 1800utc

START POINT: SOL Start

COURSE: from the start - to and round the Y-shaped island (leaving it to port)- direct to the SOL Finish

FINISH: SOL Finish Line


ALL SOLers REGISTERED FOR THIS RACE ARE V WELCOME TO JOIN IN FOR THE THRILLS AND SPILLS AND CAMERADERIE OF PRACTICE RACING!!

I am glad Hiroshima-Kure race will be hold in my country. :-)
But there are too many small islands.
It is so difficult to avoid every island. :-(

This month’s TIMED race takes us to the shallow waters of Palk Bay located between India and Sri Lanka. Sail the impressive MC 38 around a roughly 140 nm course through two narrow channels before returning to the start/finish line in Jaffna.
