If you can get hold of a book called "High Performance Sailing" by Frank Bethewaite, there are a few dinghy polars in there - including a very detailed one for a Tasar, which I would imagine is roughly similar in performance - and take some numbers of the pics.

Actually this book is worth its weight in gold to the serious dinghy racer - it has many small contributions on trim an technique from various class World Champions and IIRC there are more than a few by the then Laser2 WC - Mendelblatt or something?
I will hunt down my copy and have a look for you also - whatever I find I can scan and post here...

Just loaded a scan in a 2-D CAD application and copied manually the graphs. I am learning better with visual methods ;-)

Panama Canal 2026


Sailing in the Panama Canal isn't the best idea, and organizing a race there is simply impossible and unfeasible IRL. In SOL, we have slightly different rules, so why not? A 36nm, frantic race awaits us, and the fast Dehler 30 OD will help us navigate the Panama Canal with grace.
