Board » Technical Support » RSL/FLEX error when loading latest client - post HERE

Page: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Next Last

Seems some are having the problem when loading the newest client version:
'Flex Error #1001: Digest mismatch with RSL
http://www.sailonline.org/static/windy /framework_3.5.0.12683.swf - Redeploy the matching RSL or relink your application with the matching library.'

If you also experience this, please post under here instead of the Stick thread for the new client update.

Thanks

UPDATED WITH CURRENT INFO AS AT OCTOBER 2013

If you get this error, either after updating Flash or after emptying your Flash cache (or after some other update) this is what you need to do.

1. Click on the SOL Classic Client in the race description.

2. Once in the race, change the end of the url from /?version=classic to /?beta=true

THEN

3. Next time just click on Go To Race in the usual fashion.

It only happens occasionally but when it does it is v irritating!

Hope this helps!

Same here. There is a pop-up message/progress-bar stating "RSL Error 3 of 3" and on the bottom of the page it says "Flex Error #1001: Digest mismatch with RSL ... . Redeploy the matching RSL or relink your application with the matching library.".

I've check both on OS 10.6 and on Windows 7 running on Parallels Desktop v6. Same result on Firefox and Safari.

[Edited - Please watch when posting long URLs, it widens the whole page]

Cheers.

Try completely clearing your browser cache and reloading.
I help develop the client interface for the best online ocean racing sim there is... __/)/)_/)__
Same issue here.
Cleared cache in Firefox and IE but still get error.

For SYC members, the mobile client is still working.

Trev
Trev.
Cache cleared Aaron... still no-joy.
I have had a look into this and there are some flash related things we can try to clear to repair this for you.

Have a look here: And clear the flash related local storage as well.

To access the local Flash Player Settings Manager that is native to your operating system:

Windows: click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Flash Player
Macintosh: System Preferences (under Other) click Flash Player

Let us know if this helped.

Tall Ships Races 2025 - Le Havre to Dunkirk

Welcome to the first of four virtual Tall Ships Races in European waters which are concurrently being organized in-real-life by Sail Training International . The course for this first race is between the French ports of Le Havre and Dunkirk; circa 125nm in Sailonline’s magnificent 90m Barque.

Red Eye - Key Lime Pie-gatta 2025

Opposite the Bahamas at the tip of the Florida peninsula, we find the Florida Keys, a honky-tonk arpeggio of islands, where another SOL classic, the Key Lime Pie-gatta, so-called after the famous local condensed-milk-based tart speciality, awaits to be navigated once again. We’ll race its “Red Eye” 180nm in very-American Santa Cruz 52s, ignoring such artefacts as bridges, causeways and piers joining the keys one to the other and to the mainland!

Sail Around Turkey 2025

Welcome to the 11th running of one of Sailonline's most iconic races, where our fleet races the length of the Turkish coastline from Hopa (the easternmost harbour on Turkey’s Black Sea coast) to Iskenderun (the easternmost harbour on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast). It’s a 1,372nm race and aboard our classic, 1st decade of the 21st Century, version 2 IMOCA 60, you should be able to get around the course in less than a week. That is if, of course, once you get out of the Black Sea you don’t stop to enjoy the sights or a BBQ or two in the Golden Horn, or on the Marble Islands, now land-locked Troy or Gallipoli or any of the myriad Aegean islands, that you shall have to carefully navigate past.
