After a race, the winner gets 1000 points, last place gives 1 point. When a race is 30 days old the ranking points from that race is starting to fade out. After 12 months (to eternity) the race gives only 5% of the original points. Total ranking points is calculated as the sum of all races participated. The ranking is only processed about one time per week. Note: The ranking system is preliminary and is subject to evaluation.

Guys isn't it an idea to make the nr of points dependent on the nr of entries per race? As the more entries the harder it will theoretically be to win....

    Try this one:

    http://sailonline.org/m/

It's a lightweight client meant for mobile phones, or possibly for people stuck behind proxy at work. It is VERY rudimentary, you can't for example see weather maps etc.

Since it's rather resource intensive it is SYC-only for moment.

J122, are the computers in question also newer iMacs?
1 new imac (3mth old) one mac mini (1yr old) both running leopard and no tracks and traces on both. The one correctly showing tracks and traces is an older powerbook g4 running tiger.

Tall Ships 2026 - Stavanger to Aalborg

Welcome to the fourth of four virtual Tall Ships Races in European waters which are concurrently being organized in-real-life by Sail Training International . Chinook Salmon - Canada to Andreanovs

A year after spawning in the upper reaches of the rivers of British Columbia, Chinook Salmon develop the age-old urge, so familiar to SOLers, to go to sea, heading for different parts of the northern Pacific Ocean. This race catches up with a particular school with an instinctive memory for the Andreanov Islands far west on the Aleutian Islands chain, as they depart the Salian Sea between Vancouver Island and the San Juans. It’s 2200nm and we’re taking the 60ft Trimaran, in the hope we can keep up!
