  • Nation in archived leaderboards

    Hi all

Could it be possible to show the nation of each boat in the archived leaderboards?
It'd be great for making a nations ranking without accesing SOL database.

    Regards

    Hi all

Is it possible to extract from database the duration of each race? If it is, the 'factor' that Kevin Defines could be (medium duration of all races) / (race duration) in order to mantein the 'less is best' actual ranking.

    Just my 2 cents...

    Regards

    Hi

Great job indeed, and a very difficult one.
There is a fail: if you take the results from the race archive now, you obtain who is actually a SYC member, not when the race took place.
I miss some awesome sailors, Exmeromotu saying one.

I think there are no records about past SYC members in the database, which makes impossible this work as originally pretended.

Why not a hall of fame, regardless if they are (or were) SYC members or not? I think they all are part of SOL's history.

    Forgive my terrible english :)

    Regards

    Link works fine from here.
Not for me, tried from Firefox 3.6, Firefox 13 (both over W7) and Dolphin over Android.

Lake Vättern PYOC 2026

Back in 2013, longstanding SOLer Musigny and his friend xthyra invited us for a three race tour of beautiful Lake Vättern in the heart of southern Sweden. After many years, we return there for a quick sprint from a start in front of the village of Brandstorp, either way around Visingso island in the middle of the lake, but PORT HAND ROUND a buoy off the Granna piers on the eastern shore and back, once again avoiding Visingso as best you can. At least 20nm in trusty Scandinavian 11m One Designs; good luck!

Chinook Salmon - Canada to Andreanovs

A year after spawning in the upper reaches of the rivers of British Columbia, Chinook Salmon develop the age-old urge, so familiar to SOLers, to go to sea, heading for different parts of the northern Pacific Ocean. This race catches up with a particular school with an instinctive memory for the Andreanov Islands far west on the Aleutian Islands chain, as they depart the Salian Sea between Vancouver Island and the San Juans. It’s 2200nm and we’re taking the 60ft Trimaran, in the hope we can keep up!
