Hi I was a late entry to the race but trying to complete the course but I cannot now access the race. Site says it closes tomorrow but as its gone to archive has it now closed???

Hi Many thanks and tried that and just remains on hold stating getting weather....left it for good 10 mins. Have tried from Chrome and Exp and have cleared cache...rebooted etc and still no movement. Not the end of the world as unlikely to finish before tomorrow but as a new boy to this site it was good practice if nothing else on the controls.

Hello, there was an human error when closing the race, sorry for that. It was closed 24 hours early by accident.

However you are right away welcome to practice in the Race to Up Helly Aa which is now open for practice.

Marion Island to Fernando de Noronha 2025

This leg takes us from Marion Island to Fernando de Noronha, an island in the world heritage archipelago with the same name, 220 nm off the coast of Brazil. Camel or Balloon - Khartoum to N'Djamena


As there is a lull in the calendar, your PRO has decided to risk an experiment – a balloon race over land, using a workaround to eliminate the recognition of water/land transitions. If it fails, the server may crash, and we abandon PDQ, hopefully after leg 7 of the ABS race to Suez has been decided, and before the start of the 1st OCC of Q4. Camel or Balloon – c 1000 nm from a field on the north bank of the Blue Nile at Khartoum to a field on the north bank of the Chari River at N'Djamena!
