HiSmo - that looks like a lot of fun! Can you please perhaps come up with a course and waypoints? I couldn't find that while reading-in. What I did find was this:

QUOTE
The concept
The concept is simple. Each team sails intensely day and night on a Formula 18 (5,5 m catamaran), along a unique course drawn among 100.000 rocks and islands. On the way, the competitors have to find 20-25 checkpoints located on islands (pontoons, beaches, boats, lighthouses) and described in the "Archipelago Raid Book" (latitude, longitude). The teams are free to choose their route between two checkpoints.

:-)
Yes I can setup course .. did just trhrow this out for people and if there is demand let's setup it.
This race can be just great, I saw the irl race on tv last year, and looked like a very nice one, and perfect for some practice races very funny too.
Smo - if you look at the thread called "Nine Islands, Nine Lights" you will see the Rolls Royce of race proposals. I don't expect you to follow that example, but something resembling that suggested by the Guide on How to Prepare SOL Race Proposals would be excellent!

Kiitos.
If we forget 8mR this coming closer .. just wanted to lift this up in forum
Smo - maybe you can get JakeS (an SYC Member) to work on this with you? We need coords, course, dates, race description as a minimum :-D
Here is that Archipelago Raid race by GE, if it's still relevant. Smo, I'm afraid that we created a "monster". . . 481nm / 21 wp's . . .

Sounds like we need F18 for that ...
As the website for this race has been completely hacked ... do we have a date for it? or is it up to us when we run it? I thought it was up and coming?....

TuziTekwini TIMED Race 2026

Sailonline is delighted to have been invited again to partner with the King Shaka Yacht Club (KSYC) of South Africa to bring a virtual version of the Tuzi Tekwini Ocean Raceto our online community.

Achievable in a single day and seen by some as an easy mile-builder, the course is more tactical than some think and should not be underestimated. This iconic race promises to be an unforgettable experience for yachting enthusiasts.
Our online version of the race will be a TIMEDrace so you may RE-REGISTER HEREto try again after finishing a run. You will have two weeks to test your skill and decision making after the race opens.
