Clock issues of this nature in the past can be attributed to the time/date settings on the local computer which may include the wrong time zone selected even if your clock "reads" correctly
None so blind
iomkiwi, looking at your picture I can see that the wind slider is at 22:22utc but the dashboard clock is 23:22utc.

One hour difference might be because of some daylight saving time changes which I think happen at during saturday/sunday nights at these times, could this explain the problem?
As already reported on 24 September, the guest boat appears to have acquired sailing privileges during races.

The DevtDudes are looking into why this has occurred!

In the meantime, I can manually de-activate the boat so that it can never steal a ranking from a SOLer!!

THANKS kroppyer - who has pointed out that it is the Classic Client allowing this to occur.

The Boat Polar link in the Race "Helpful Links" (blue tab) is still linked to sailport.se and needs to be corrected.

SOLer knockando60 just reported this:

"knockando60 14:27 Depuis quelques jours, impossible de télécharger les polaires au format csv depuis l'onglet Helpful Links, Boat Polar."

:-)
The problem with guest being able to register a boat is not a new one, and thus it is not a problem with the transition.
Markku

The guest boat is not meant to have sailing privileges - it was set up by Aaron as part of the "Welcome" process so folks can look in to SOL and see what we are like.

At most it can probably be allowed to sail in practice but definitely not (like sol boat) in races.
The boat polar link should now work if you first refresh the client by doing reload of the page your browser.

Red Eye - Myth of Malham 2025

In 1947, Hugh McLean & Sons of Gourock, Scotland built a radical racing yacht for John Illingworth, soon-to-be Commodore of the RORC, to a design by Laurent Giles. With a masthead rig, giving her ‘free’ sail area per the rules of the time, and short overhangs reducing pitching, Myth of Malham went on to win The Fastnet that year and again in 1949, and to compete in numerous Admiral's Cups. In 1958, in honour of the yacht, the Myth of Malham race was conceived - a mini-Fastnet to the first lighthouse on a rock west of Cowes, Eddystone, rather than the second, to be held in non-Fastnet years. IRL this year it has been raced already, but this stops us not from “Red Eye” racing its online 230nm in Fareast 31Rs, leaving how to deal with the Isle of Wight open to your own discretion.

Africa by Sea 2025 - Maputo to Mogadishu

The fifth leg of our exploration of Africa By Sea takes us north along the length of the Continent’s succulent sub-tropical and tropical Indian Ocean coast. Much fought over by traders and colonists both well-before and after a Portuguese expedition under the command of Vasco da Gama first sailed there from Europe back in the 16th century, it is yet to be properly explored as a yachting destination. With plenty of islands off- and inshore, small and very large, there is much to interrupt your 1900nm voyage and visit in your Swan 65, from Maputo to Mogadishu! Race #1858
