Hi Kroppie, yes it is all to do with screen size and resolution. What I meant by 60% was that the type in my SOL header for example could fit in about 8 rows of type between the top and bottom of the header, whereas yours could probably only fit in 5-6 rows. So I mean that proportionately to the space available for type in the header, my type is much smaller.

My monitor, by the way, is 23" I think my new computer supports a higher resolution than the previous one, but to be honest at the highest supported resolution the type is just way too small. So are icons and everything else. It's probably great for looking at high res photos or videos, but after playing around with Chrome and Windows font size settings for hours, the best answer for me is to drop back to 1680 x 1050 screen resolution. On my 23" monitor, that seems a fair balance. I'll see how it goes.
