Board » Technical Support » boat class line not necessary

Newly introduced boat class line under boats is really not necessary, as known to everyone and if more classes than it could be seen in leaderboard.
The problem is that now the distance to arrival is not seen and the screen should be shifted to see it but after short time it returns back to boat class.
I don't know whose idea was this but it is not good.

As per the new explanation the columns can be repositioned according to your wishes.

None so blind
I already said that all the improvements are very appreciated by me,except dark blue for light wind(light blue stronger) and this boat class line.

Your proposal 8mR of exchange of places of boat class line and DTG is very wise
The boat class should only appear when there are multiple classes in the race...
As for the columns changing order after a time, I have not experienced this so cannot comment, but cannot think of any reason this should be so...

I would point out that if you really don't like the boat class column, then you can always re-size it to almost 0 width...

Sure you can search through multiple pages of the leader board for competitors boat class, but including in the client allows you to sort on it, and makes creating a list of only your own class very very easy ;-)

================
This is a consequence on the natural light spectrum and its progression from Red->Green->Blue.
If you look at any colour spectrum you will see that darker blue is 'outside' of the lighter blue, as the lighter blue is a combination of blue and green.

Doing it any other way would look extremely unnatural...

edited to reduce width of line to fit column

Iceland to the Falklands 2026

Welcome to an all-new route, the first of three Round the 'Old World' of Europe, Africa, Australia and Asia. To give each leg of the ROW a bit of length we'll try to hug the coasts as little as possible, so starting in Iceland our first leg of the series, which will also be the final leg of our Quarter 1 Ocean Championships takes us 7200nm to the Falklands, the full length of the Atlantic end to end. To make sure we'll get it done within the month we'll be sailing our Maxi Trimaran.
