I have just find the app for Ipad ”Puffin” it’s a Webb browser witch allows you to play Sailonline.
It’s working weary slow but I think it is the only one working.

Hi Tomas

Flash support is still a tough one.

There are a few special browsers that render flash at the server side and then output the result to your device. Hence the speed drop.
I used Skyfire some time ago on my windows phone, I think they also have a app. Let us know the ones that work best.
I am a ex-admin of SOL who joins in from time to time.
There are also a number of tools that allow you to connect your iPad remotely to your PC/Mac desktop.
They should provide better performance as it is your own computer running the flash...

Apple has a policy of not supporting technology on its devices it has little or no control over, so don't ever expect any iP*** device to support Flash
I help develop the client interface for the best online ocean racing sim there is... __/)/)_/)__

I was just thinking if anyone had thought of creating an App specifically for Sailonline. It can be done, just a matter of finding the right person. I lead a vey mobile life, a better format for mobile would be a big hit.
It seems that the Volvo iPod App for their version of sail racing is a simple, effective extension to the user.
Don't get me wrong, Sailonline is by far my preferred platform for sail racing on computer. Sadly, my life does not allow to devote more time to racing. But, a simple to use app would make it possible to keep more up to date.
I am sure I am not the only one who feels the same. I do realise the expense involved, but that must be able to be off set somehow...

Christmas to Christmas Island 2025

Two waypoints, start and finish, and between them 5827 NM of two oceans. Not much time if we want to sit at the Christmas Eve table. You will need to maintain an average speed of over 10 knots, maybe quite possible with this Maxi Trimaran, but prepare your vessel well and choose the best of the many possible routes. Hands up everyone who knew there were TWO Christmas Islands?! OK, maybe you have sailed this Sailonline course before... but it's time to get ready for the 2025 challenge of racing between Christmas Island in the Pacific to Christmas Island in the Indian Ocean! It also marks the conclusion of our prestigious Ocean Race Championship 2025. Please have fun! Fair winds!

Andaman Islands PYOC 2025

The Andaman Islands are an archipelago, made up of 200 islands, in the northeastern Indian Ocean. Together with the Nicobar Islands to their south, the Andamans serve as a maritime boundary between the Bay of Bengal to the west and the Andaman Sea to the east. These waters will be the theater of our next 240nm race in the ARCH 2025 series. Which one you choose depends only on you, i.e. your Elan 410 sport will leave the Andaman Islands on the starboard or port side.

Sinbad by Balloon 2025 - Carnarvon to Dondra

From here, our home in Bharatavarṣa is now north west of us – said Sinbad to his fellow balloonists. Perhaps we can ride the wind first further north, and then catch the winds that every year bring the rain, perhaps not. It’s 2600nm and we could be aloft awhile, so, Master el-Quarters, victuals only, no sandbags, provisioning the giant hamper. It will be not a picnic!
