I am seeing an increasing of activity in the Forum with SPAM post in every section , let me call them "facebook style": e.G.
    - I found a nice weather site for my town....
    - I was there once and was nice....
-Air traffic management is a complex system....
    Any chance to block them?

    An increadible entushiastic person.
With too much energy to be kept inside.
He was sparkling all around at every moment.
May he bring good wind to all friends and family still sailing thinking at him.

The sad news have spread amongst the members of the SOL Italian Team. They have expressed the desire that I add their grief to mine here.

So …..On behalf of all those who fly the Italian flag high on the mast of the SOL pinky boats …. A BIG HUG to Joao …..

You have always expressed friendship and respect for us …….it is now our time to pay total respect to you ….Thank you Joao !! …..

The “Padrão dos Descobrimentos” will steer with you on every sea and ocean !

Italians pay respect to Portuguese navigators (33 + 1)

    Ciao

was not a surprise that the most answer I got were "no boat?, no party!"
Accidentally the 2 options that I have to grab a boat has sinked in the last weeks....
So I have to postpone this on a next future.
Could be that I will go there anyhow as there is holiday in Germany.

However the plan B is the following:
I will attend to the presentation of SOL during the buddyup with the Silverrudder, same location, end of September.
The local SOL crew is already up and running for that.
So stay tuned, there WILL BE a SOL party in DK this year! ;)
    Good wind
    Gilles

Mistli's Birthday BBQ Race 2025

Welcome to one of Sailonline's great traditions - the ofttimes slightly untimely celebration of SOLer Mistli's birthday on November 1, by way of a tricky race through the Stockholm Archipelago. To match the day that’s in it, this year correctly, we are providing you with a fleet of sleek 11 metre 1-designs (get it?) to slice through these (at least) 61.5nm of SLI-infested waters, and give you a fair chance that there will still be some beer left by the time you moor up by the jetty at Trosa!

Sinbad by Balloon 2025 - Carnarvon to Dondra

From here, our home in Bharatavarṣa is now north west of us – said Sinbad to his fellow balloonists. Perhaps we can ride the wind first further north, and then catch the winds that every year bring the rain, perhaps not. It’s 2600nm and we could be aloft awhile, so, Master el-Quarters, victuals only, no sandbags, provisioning the giant hamper. It will be not a picnic!
