    Recent experience at RTW2014-leg4. The "rounding line" ref. hmm for Cape Horn has a limit at 83S & 34W. Why not move that limit to say 65S & 64.2W or the exact W pos. on the "rounding line". Wouldn't that be a simple improvement for the boat position at the Horn specificly.

    I managed to update my OS to Windows XP and now I can run a race again. I also updated IE to version 8.

    Hello again, I tried to download Coogle Chrome but got the reply that my OS wasn't supported only windows XP, Vista and 7.

    Thks for your reply. I haven't noticed any other problems. What happens is that I come as far as "waiting for weather download" but not any further.

    Hello,
    I used to be able to run any race with my laptop but not anymore. I run Windows 2000 SP4, IE ver. 6 and Flash player ver. 10,3,183,10 on the laptop.
    Can someone inform me what has happened? Has there been an update to SOL which makes my computer not working anymore??

    Hi Jeroen,

    Thks for your replies. I will try it later on. My batteries have to be charged. It would be nice to be able to use my mobile when I during the weeks are working at my country house where I only have a ph. modem with 33.6 kbps which makes it more or less impossible to race.

To complete our DN circumnavigation of Antarctica and our 4-race ice-boat marathon series, we continue clockwise, now departing from Scott Base back to Neumayer Station. It’s about 3500nm back as well, which, as said if there’s wind at all, should, well-wrapped in your DN-cockpits, not take you much more than five days. The sixth race of our series of ocean voyages across the World’s convergence zones takes us back up the Atlantic to Tenerife, from whence we will depart on a classic transatlantic passage to Brazil’s Fernando de Noronha.
