Why are there gaps in the boat rankings under the "BOATS" tab for the Orno & Inport races. The Leg 10 looks ok.

Is it to do with been a timed race, but the race leaderboard shows the boats in the correct elasped times.

Also when you do a search for boats like NZL the some boats keep appearing and disappearing. Makes it hard for my daily report on crew.

Good question - I was wondering the same thing. In the Orno race I have raced three times so far, finishing in #209, #89 and #52. For some reason #52 is not showing up anymore.

Edit - Now #52 *is* showing up! What's going on?

Edit again - Now #52 has disappeared again!!!

The race leaderboard should always show the correct results. For example Ornö Runt: http://www.sailonline.org/races/149/leaderboard/

The in-game list of boats is updated by the sim server pushing the updates to the web server nodes, I'm suprised that any old boats are appearing, because they shouldn't :)

The old placings in the Orno race appear, then disappear, then re-appear, then...

Yes, but can you explain why the boats keep disappearing and reappearing on the "BOAT" tab?

What do you call an "old boat"?

If the old boats are deleted so the best time show up?

There are mutliple ranking of the same boat from the first, second & thrid runs.

Red Eye - Melville Island PYOC 2026

Melville Island is the largest of the Tivi group opposite the port of Darwin in the Timor Sea. Tropically forested and thinly populated, not a lot goes on there, but let’s race around it anyway, lar- or starboard round, it’s a little more than 120nm, so, no matter where you are navigating from on the planet, you will be hard-pressed to complete the course aboard your J-80 in daylight hours!

The third race of our series of ocean voyages across the World’s convergence zones takes us southeastward now down the Pacific, from Guam’s Apra Harbour at 13.5 degrees North, back across the Equator to the glorious New Caledonian resort island of Ouvéa, on the edge of the Tropic of Capricorn at 20.5 degrees South.
