Board » General Discussion » Limit on No of DC's ??

Is there a limit on the no of DC's you can give?? Last night I gave 8 DC's but the latest one 6.5 hrs ahead was not performed. Result I went aground. Maybe I just forgot to sent it although I wrote it down. Would be great to have a list of all DC's given and also to be able to later edit the list if need be.
You can list all active DCs (and remove them) if you click on the "alarm clock" tab in the client. There's no limit on DC's.
Great thk's I'll use that in the future.

Thk's yes I already used Brainaid's polars but not tried other features. I like your picture of Wijsmuller tug which reminds me of my time in tug & salvage company NEPTUN.

Sailed that tug and her sister Typhoon for 3 years in the early nineties mainly in N sea. Still my favourite vessel. Liked the job although not in this time of year.
Myself I used to work in the office but also a lot in the field with salvage work and marine operations. In the seventies we used to have out barge fleet stationed in Rotterdam. Today the remainders of Neptun is owned by a Norwegian Company and our previous sister company Red Tug fleet by Wijsmuller.

wijsmuller doesn't exist either anymore al has been takenover by Svitzer.
But it is nice to remember.
You're still working in the salvage business ?

You're sure I thought it was the other way around that it was Wijsmuller who had taken over Svitzers??
Well nowadays I only have minor consultancy works for the small local shipowners here in Stockholm and no major salvage jobs. We are 3 guys (all pensionists) who still do some work in our company Neptun Engineering AB but only at a small scale. Tomorrow I'll leave for my summer house for some rebuilding I do on my own. It will be difficult to race only via a phone modem.

Red Eye - Key Lime Pie-gatta 2025

Opposite the Bahamas at the tip of the Florida peninsula, we find the Florida Keys, a honky-tonk arpeggio of islands, where another SOL classic, the Key Lime Pie-gatta, so-called after the famous local condensed-milk-based tart speciality, awaits to be navigated once again. We’ll race its “Red Eye” 180nm in very-American Santa Cruz 52s, ignoring such artefacts as bridges, causeways and piers joining the keys one to the other and to the mainland!

Sail Around Turkey 2025

Welcome to the 11th running of one of Sailonline's most iconic races, where our fleet races the length of the Turkish coastline from Hopa (the easternmost harbour on Turkey’s Black Sea coast) to Iskenderun (the easternmost harbour on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast). It’s a 1,372nm race and aboard our classic, 1st decade of the 21st Century, version 2 IMOCA 60, you should be able to get around the course in less than a week. That is if, of course, once you get out of the Black Sea you don’t stop to enjoy the sights or a BBQ or two in the Golden Horn, or on the Marble Islands, now land-locked Troy or Gallipoli or any of the myriad Aegean islands, that you shall have to carefully navigate past.
