	You should be able to have 2 races open in different tabs within the same browser... I did so earlier in Chrome - not tried any others though... I help develop the client interface for the best online ocean racing sim there is... __/)/)_/)__

	Ever since i logged on to get a mate off the rocks i can no longer get the beta version. Have read all, deleted data, restarted etc. All i get is a white page in IE & Chrome. Any suggestions much appreciated

	NZL Otto - I am not techie as you know, but what you say makes me think your Flash player may not be up to date. Go to a race (non-beta) and right click on the screen, it will bring up an Adobe window, then click on About. This will take you to the Flash version page and you can see if the version you have is current or not. If not, then update Flash. Hope that helps!

	Cheers RC, same version on both PC's. checked on another computer and all ok. But still no go with mine, last time i offer to get a mate off the rocks.

	The other thing you can do is empty the Flash cache. Not your browser one, 'cos I know you have done that. Aaron told me about the Flash one... right click on race screen, click on Global Settings (above the About option) and then on the LH side of the page that opens, under Settings Manager, click on the 6th option (Website Storage Settings) and in the window that opens, click on Delete all Sites. Finally, he also gave me a link here with some steps to go through. The problem of no wx downloading is deffo a Flash issue.

	Since you mentioned that this particular problem arose after using 2 logins makes me suspect that the conflict might possibly be resolved by removing all SOL cookies from your browsers on the system you are using. Log out from SOL delete cookies close browser reboot None so blind

	thanks team have tried all that but still no luck, same old white screen or if i do what Aaron suggested at the beginning with the "javascript" line i get the normal race menu even though my browser says "...betta = true"

	Did you log out as your friend, and then log back in as yourself. I know that sometimes when there's house cleaning of the database, I'm not logged in when I open SOL. If I don't notice and try to open a race in the beta client (and the old client, for that matter) I get the same thing you describe. When I go back and log-in, everything works. FYI, when you want to help a mate (or two), I find it best to use another browser. I usually use chrome for myself, but when I help a friend who can't get online I use FireFox, IE or Opera. It doesn't hurt to have several browsers on your machine.

	Jack that i will definitely be doing if i ever get going again. thanks team but deleted cookies now using chrome but home pc and laptop won't load. read all the forums & will keep trying but if anyone has a suggestion let's know.

Jakob's Birthday BBQ Race 2024

Sailonline had two founders and Jakob, the more senior of the two, has his birthday in April which we always like to celebrate with a race through the Stockholm Archipelago from Revengegrundet Lighthouse to his mooring at Baggensfjärden. Traditionally also, like other celebrations this time of year, this feast has been “moveable”, so on this occasion we will be racing on a Wednesday in one of our latest high-performance 40-footers, the Carkeek 40. Melbourne to Osaka Prelude 2024

Welcome once again to what these days is Sailonline’s almost annual virtual Melbourne to Osaka Yacht Race. In real life, this double-handed 5500 nm race between these two sister cities, one deep in the southern hemisphere, the other high in the northern hemisphere, is run every four to five years, and is planned to be held again in 2025, so this race is a Prelude in partnership with the Melbourne Osaka Cup 2025 organising committee collaborating with the Ocean Racing Club of Victoria (ORCV), and the Sandringham (SYC) and Osaka Hokko (OHYC) yacht clubs. On this occasion, we’ll be racing the well-known First 40, a popular size of boat for a long-distance double-handed race. With the doldrums unavoidably lying across the track, you can expect to be at virtual sea for at least a month!

St Nazaire Chasse TIMED Race 2024

Welcome to a "chasse" (hunt) from St. Nazaire to La Baule on the west coast of France! This race was designed by SOLer FR_flouflou in 2010. The KER 40 was introduced to SOL in 2016 by SOLer psail, and the Sol-KER was a welcome addition to SOL’s fleet of 40- footers, as it was to the IRL Ker fleet of eponymous - like KERonimo, KukuKERchu and Ice BreaKER. This is a TIMEDrace, so you may RE-REGISTER HERE to try again, after finishing a run. You will have 13 days and 11 hours to show your skill and decision making after the race opens.

The Beagle in the Straits of Magellan 2024

Both before and after visiting the Falkland Islands, the Beagle extensively explored the south eastern coast of South America, hither and thither, from north of the Rio Plate to the tip of Tierra del Fuego, but it was not till the end of June 1834 that the ship made it into the Pacific Ocean, transiting via the Straits of Magellan. Online in 2024, the choice is yours - passage the strait or round the cape; 400nm or more in your Class B Tall Ship.
