P.S.
Winston will kill me for doing that :-P
Gracias Gilles por compartirlo , es muy interesante. No creo que Piero se enfade por esto y si te mata habrĂ¡ merecido la pena.... ;)))

Meraviglioso, Gilberto. So true...so true, especially about sleep. I doubt that you have given away too many of Piero's and The Prof's secrets.
One thing you did but pass over: If you are distracted (by a short nap, a meeting, dinner, or family...) the boat/boats you are covering will tack or gybe while you are away.

:-)
This is priceless.
So true.

I didn't know a Genoa sail was named after the city. Wow, always learning.
It's true. Coincidentally, my home town is Heavy # 1.
I broke first rule at last race. :)

Even if I agree with all of the rules of ITA,except maybe the rule:be always on CC and not on TWA in windshifts,I must say that most important of all the rules of ITA is missing:Be sure to have the best router on the market,or even better program it yourself if you are able to.
Than you are sure to be the top racer on SOL

Shetland Winter Race 2022
A-OI!!! The cry should soon be ringing out in the streets of Lerwick as the Guizer Jarl and his crew, along with the other teams in the Up Helly Aa parade complete their preparations for the biggest fire festival in Europe. While Shetland continues to manage #COVID19 well, Up Helly Aa has been cancelled but this won't stop SOLers racing their Elan 410s this 383nm course from Aberdeen to be sociable in Lerwick Harbour. SAILING NOTE: Gruney may be approached from any direction but must be passed for rounding purposes as indicated on the chart.
