    Thanks Cap'n.
I can get on via my own laptop back at camp, that uses the same network. I just learned about ActiveX filtering, yes its disabled on work computers. Just have to come up with a work related reason for me to have ActiveX now.

Hi, I'm back again, or trying to be.
Just tried starting a race but clicking on the big blue button I get a white screen and on the Classic link I get a blue screen but nothing loads and no error messages.
I have IE11, version 11.0.9600.18204 and have Flash version 20.0.0.306 and have tried everything in the "What to do if Sailonline is Unavailable?
I'm at work so can't really go to IT to fix the issue - any suggestions on how I can make it work?
    Cheers
    Spindrift.

Thanks RC for coaching me to get badges on my avatar. I have been away far too long and have so much reading to catch up on about SOL and SYC developments in teh last few years. I promise not to be absent for so long again :)

I can't remember all the plaes I have journeyed to over teh years, so been conservative with badge selection - looking forward to building on it .....

err, the pic shows leaving SOL start to starboard but the words say to leave to port - which is right?

"So our boats are a moving point, rounding a point (mark). "
taking the geometry example above and other mathematical axioms and postulates you could redefine the reference field so the mark point was moving around the boat point and the boat point was stationary. In which case a protest could not be upheld for hitting or passing over the mark, as it would have hit or passed under you.

Tried getting in to check race at work but got a page saying
"Alternate HTML content should be placed here. This content requires the Adobe Flash Player. Get Flash"
but I already have Flash installed and it worked a few days ago. Has some setting or something changed that I need something else installed (no admin rights so can't install anything myself :()

Have sent mail to crew@sailport.se with a couple of screenshots...

and disable the Google Earth thing too, then it will really keep everyone in the dark...

Was very interesting to see who had gone where once someone said the GE tracker was working, but even more so if only every 6 hours or some other time, like a regular radio sched.

Red Eye - Myth of Malham 2025

In 1947, Hugh McLean & Sons of Gourock, Scotland built a radical racing yacht for John Illingworth, soon-to-be Commodore of the RORC, to a design by Laurent Giles. With a masthead rig, giving her ‘free’ sail area per the rules of the time, and short overhangs reducing pitching, Myth of Malham went on to win The Fastnet that year and again in 1949, and to compete in numerous Admiral's Cups. In 1958, in honour of the yacht, the Myth of Malham race was conceived - a mini-Fastnet to the first lighthouse on a rock west of Cowes, Eddystone, rather than the second, to be held in non-Fastnet years. IRL this year it has been raced already, but this stops us not from “Red Eye” racing its online 230nm in Fareast 31Rs, leaving how to deal with the Isle of Wight open to your own discretion.

Africa by Sea 2025 - Maputo to Mogadishu

The fifth leg of our exploration of Africa By Sea takes us north along the length of the Continent’s succulent sub-tropical and tropical Indian Ocean coast. Much fought over by traders and colonists both well-before and after a Portuguese expedition under the command of Vasco da Gama first sailed there from Europe back in the 16th century, it is yet to be properly explored as a yachting destination. With plenty of islands off- and inshore, small and very large, there is much to interrupt your 1900nm voyage and visit in your Swan 65, from Maputo to Mogadishu! Race #1858
