    OK,
    We'll leave the "proto" ahead.
We'll race with "series", they are the fundations of this great race, the Mini Transat.

PLEASE, it's time to schedule the start for the leg 2 !!!
If we want to sail with the real boats, we must start next Tuesday 4th. And it'll be nice if we have 2 buoys : the first at 39°N - 46° E, the second at 40°N - 80°E.
    Thanks for all.

@ RainbowChase : congratulations for this first leg : we're sailing with the real boats !
For the leg 2 it'll be fine if SOL can put the Ice gates.
If it is possible the departure for the Leg 2 could be in December 2nd. If it's not possible we will go faster than the real boats, so we can put departure on December 4th.
So let's talk about that, we've got 2 days for making decision, if you can prepare the next leg like that. Thanks.

ard sur - YES misterqu is in SOL, LS, VR and OV, and revaqu is in VLM.

I'm not sure but i remember you did a very interesting map of your boats in all the games (i think it was in the first legs of VOR). I'd like to do so, if it's very simple... But i'm very bad in data processing..

If you want to compare, let's see in "Forum marins virtuels", you will catch some more datas.

I think it'll be nice to make the starts of the legs at the same time the real Imoca boats will be in zone, even if the previous leg is not finished.
I hope you understand (with my french poor English language...).

Well it's a bit difficult because we can't make writting publicity for this "non official" race.
But i promise, i will be under colours of SOL in Les Sables d'Olonnes next thursday - Friday and Saturday with my SOL tee-shirt and my SOL cap !!!

    GREAT
Many thanks for this SOL's Global Challenge 2012-2013 !!!

Well i think the situation has changed : because now in the Vendée Globe you've got many ice gates. So the gap should be less between a race with legs, and the real race.

Perhaps You could make a "round the world" with leg 1 Olonne - Gough Island Leg 2 Gough - Australian ice gate Leg 3 Australian ice gate - Pacific ice gate Leg 4 Pacific ice gate - Cap Horn and Leg 5 Cap Horn - Olonne But i don't know if it's possible for SOL with 5 legs.
    Thanks.

Il y a également le site "océan virtuel" qui permet de naviguer autour du monde : gratuit pour le Vendée, payant en challenge le reste de l'année (13,5€).

You've got the web site "ocean virtuel" in wich you can sail around the world : free for the Vendée. In challenge the rest of the year, you'll have to pay (13,5€)

Sinbad Braves the Bay of Bengal 2023
“Sinbad, you sorry sailor, why have you not told me of this great sea, this giant bay, stretching hundreds of thousands of qasbah east of Al-Hindi to fabled lands where tea and rice and rubber is abundant?” and Sinbad replied “Ahh, umm, shall I go have a look. May I take the Judel Vrolijk 62 again, it’s going to be a long voyage, perhaps a million and one half qasbah (c 3000nm)? I’ll start in Chittagong and follow the coast to the southern tip of the Hindus’ land, round Serendip, head east into the vastness of the seas, and if I’m lucky (no pun intended, oh Mighty One) I shall find land again and then head north and see where I end up”. “Fair winds, Sinbad”, said the Sultan.

Maryland to Alaska 2023
Welcome to this September edition of 2023 OCCH. This route was first sailed in 2020. At the time it was inspired by Matt Rutherford's single-handed Red Dot Expedition around the Americas in 2012, SOLer Renegade proposing a half-around from Maryland over the North into the Pacific and back through the Panama Canal, in 5 legs, 5 years later. Leg 2 across the North West Passage proved to be particularly challenging and so to create a proper Ocean Race, SRC combined Leg 2 with Leg 1 to give you a race of at least 4000nm from Maryland to Alaska, now to be sailed in our magnificent Archer 78.
